Hands Down, my all time favorite “Happy Hour” appetizers in Huntington Beach are at Hurricanes on Main street. Hurricanes has a huge selection of fresh and delicious eats.
Hurricanes is not only my personal favorite for the great grindage, it’s also a hot spot for many of my pals that gather for the good times and drink specials. The outdoor seating on the balcony is always a fun place to share food and stories. If you love to people watch, the balcony at Hurricanes is just perfect. You get a awesome view of the ocean as well as Main street.
Hurricanes has a kick back atmosphere and always a great staff of friendly servers and bartenders.
Happy hour at Hurricane‘s starts at 5:30 pm and ends at 8:00pm.
My all time favorite Happy Hour meal is the Seared Ahi and the Fire Roasted Artichoke.
The portions are perfect and the cost is right around 13 bucks for both items.
The Seared Ahi appetizer comes with fried won tons and awesome mango salsa. Of course you get the wasabi, ginger and teryaki on the side as well.
The Fire Roasted artichokes are off the hook with chunks of garlic and dipping sauce on the side. A total must have at Hurricanes.
Hurricanes is located on the corner of Main street and Walnut, just off PCH.
Great Food, Great Prices, Great Times!

On any weekend during football season you can find about 10-20 of us at Hurricanes. They really have good food, plenty of TVs and great prices. Get your hurricanes card to earn credit for future discounts and to be a part of their mailing list. They have mailed me coupons for as much as 20% off the entire bill. Most recently I tried their Sunday brunch with bottomless Champagne & Vodka (they have a table set up with bloody mary mix & assorted juices) from 9am to 1pm…well worth the $20!
