I just organized a 2011 NYE party at the Shorebreak Hotel. I named it “Stranded on NYE” and we had a blast! The room I booked was nicely decorated, had two double beds, a flat screen TV, oval tub & separate shower, a 20′ wide x 17′ deep patio with an ocean view, all for $171 (included tax & $1 for surfrider foundation). This was a first annual event and we had about 60 of us in & out of the room throughout the night. The security & staff were awesome! The location was perfect as some people went to dinner at RA Sushi, some went to the newly reopened Luggatti’s and some went to Zimzala. Zimzala had a band & DJ, no cover or line, and was packed. I highly recommend the Shorebreak Hotel!
